WOC 2017 Training Camp in Estonia

The first WOC 2017 training camp in Estonia is over for this time. We have been training on many different maps and quite different terrains, and in the weekend we competed at Suunto Games a test-WOC for the organizers, but also for us athletes. Due to a cold I only ran the middle distance on Sunday, and got the 12th place in the good starting field after a stable technical performance. Even though I had to be careful the whole week due to my cold, I got many hours with technical trainings and a good view on the terrain types for next years World Championships.

Selected for the WCup-final

Today the norwegian selections for the World Cup Final in Switzerland as well as for the first World Championships 2017 training camp in Estonia were published. I am selected for both. The World Cup final is held in Aarau in Switzerland and the program is: sprint relay, long distance and sprint 14th to 16th October. The training camp in Estonia will be held 29th September to 6th October. This will be my first ever trip to Estonia and I am looking forward to experience what is waiting for us in the World Championships next year.

Norwegian Championships in Bodø

The norwegian championships were organized in Bodø last weekend. After one week of sickness after the world championships my physical shape was fare from good, and my results were also there after: 14th Long Distance and 23rd Middle Distance. Even though I was not able to perform good results it was a very nice weekend! Running in such beatiful terrains is just fantastic, and I enjoyed all of the four races.
